In 2020, following an online call out for ideas, I was lucky enough to have my suggestion for a commemorative bench selected to celebrate the amazing community spirit of Barrow upon Soar during the pandemic. Part funded by residents of the village and manufactured locally, the bench was installed at the junction of Cotes Road and High Street in October 2021.
