The Fox in Socks was originally created for The Fosse Foxes Art Trail for the opening of Fosse Park West in April 2021 and was dedicated to Rainbows Hospice at the time. The design includes many of Leicester’s most famous landmarks and the socks are a nod to the city’s hosiery history and to Rainbows too. He retired from retail 3 years later and was donated to Rainbows in January 2024 and installed at the entrance in May 2024
