Esther wanted to capture a specific time and place. This is a lock down portrait showing an upside to being isolated together. A snowy day outside their beautiful Victorian Villa home. Using something like maybe 20 individual photos to bring together family and features of the home they share. A winters wreath, rainbow ribbons around the door way, artwork in the top bedroom window, favourite clothes, the colourful lining of a jacket and swapped wooly hats. The name plate on the Villa and the pattern of the roof tiles. All brought together to record a moment in time.
Watercolour wash over permanent ink, painted over multiple layers. 30cm x 40cm x 2cm deep frame.
